You boys mind if a couple of females come and invade secret mens business?
It has always been my private conviction that any man who pits his intelligence against a fish and loses has it coming.

Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.

“Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime”

"Soon after I embraced the sport of angling I became convinced that I should never be able to enjoy it if I had to rely on the cooperation of the fish."

the fishing has been so up and down at the daly this year..

im still keen to go, but will only be going if there is interest shown by enough people. i will be going for the social side of it not the fishing, so if people have lost interest i wont be going, i have put that many hours into the river this year, im well and truly ready for a change of scenery... til the rains start again anyway.. i have been getting more barra and salmon much closer to home this year..

so be serious everyone, write here if you are coming or not, cause it will only be a good weekend if a few boats come down.

Sorry guys I'm bailing out of the trip. With the fishing reports a bit slow..the expense a bit too much for a social trip, gunna fish a bit closer to home
