I had a close look at the ramp, it is two lanes if you can reverse a trailer. Might be a bit tight if you've got a few under the belt [emoji23]

This was what I was led to believe was happening.

Heading out there in a couple weeks time. From this photo I can't see an 'elbow' in the wall as shown on the planning document.

Yeah it is hard to see but I think it's there. I took this photo a few weeks ago.

For what it's worth (and I am no expert in groynes or boatramp designing) I reckon it it looks bl..dy good. I wish I could have used it when I was there, instead of watching boats get swamped and tractors bogged using the beach with the light afternoon westerly breeze. It was like a millpond at the new ramp.

on the original design the ramp ran more parallel to the beach then it appears to have been built.
looks more "Square" then the original design. the new ramp looks a hell of a lot better then the old one.
it was rough as on Saturday last week and there were big dumpers crashing on the beach where we got launched.
lucky the tide was high and got pulled out on the old ramp when we came back.
was a little bit of swell on the new ramp but nothing compared to the beach where the dumpers where.
all in all it will be better then the old one. but by how much time will tell.

Looks like it's over 45 degrees to the old ramp. Should be pretty well protected.

Looks tops to me.
Looks very close to being open. Not sure if they are sealing the turning bay or leving dirt. If they are not sealing it, it looks like it's just about done.
Every time I have been there it has been protected as.

Also shout out to the tractor service, they have been doing a tips job, and had no issues at all.

Not good for solo's & families.

Pontoon would need be taken out of the water for three months of the year. They would need a better pontoon construction than the Elizabeth (corrosion) or east arm (impact and wave movement damage). Pictures look good though that for sure. Hope so body posts a few though January February as well.

Yeah, looks like it. I hope not! If it is, it will be all the way across in no time.
