HI Guys I have the next 3 weeks of work so of fishing I go.

My plan is to head out to the Daly and fish the neaps for 2-3 days, have a look around, troll for a bit flick a bit and if I am luck live bait a bit. And if I am really lucky catch a fish.
Or

Head to Shady and troll the mouth for a bit taking advantage of the neap tides. Then coming back resetting and heading out again somewhere different.
Anyway any help would be appreciated, and if anyone is free and wants to come a long for a fish happy for them to tag along- the boat and truck are all ready to go so the only thing you will need is food, if interested send me a PM.

Heya Foxtail. Welcome aboard.
Sounds like you have an awesome trip planned.
Try doing a search (top right) on shady and daly. A lot has been written about them already so get some info there. Down the Daly be careful of rockbars, sandbars and snags. first time good to go with someone who knows it or use your gps maps if you have them.
Make sure you put up a report when you get back.

Have had a few mates go and fish the freshwater side of shady land based and they always catch a few. Nothing to big though.
Also went to daly and landed a metrey land based. Although that was a few weeks ago now

i thought there was a fish kill at shady?
