Choice of three

Post by jack »

Got three days to go fishing next weekend 15th to 18th . Had planned to attack the Roper but we had a heap of rain last night and I am not sure about the roads. So I am tossing up three options. The Daly, The Roper or Shady Camp. Does anyone have any information or tips on the following,

Road conditons (all three)

How they are currently fishing (all three)

Tide information for next weekend (Shady and Daly)

Also keen to hook up with any FFF members who are out and about. trying to learn as much about the Barra fishing game as I can.

Thanks in Advance

 Jack..........

Mate road to SHADY was the best I have ever seen it ... hats off to the contractors

By all reports it went off last neaps and should do it again this set of neaps...(at the mouth)

All I can offer really... but I do have the next 12 days off if any one wants a deckie barra hunting

all reports indicate that shady and the daly are a bit slow, but will surely fire soon (depending on rain??), havent heard much about the roper. :-?

road into shady is in great condition

if you need to know anything about the daly "punter" would be worth a PM (heights, road conditions, etc.)

The Bandit and myself are thinking about going Shady way on the 17th to 19th. The 17th and 19th are 3 tide days so timing to get down and back might be critical. Sunday evening around 6pm should be okay to go down. Tuesday night around 7.30 would just see about enough water to get home. I have got to go back and look at my diaries to figure when I can get plenty of water.
