Gents, got an opportunity to tick off a bucket list item this March / April – that being an extended run-off charter. I’ve got three options, with varying tides and locations.

OPTION 1 – 22nd to 24th March, Shady neaps
OPTION 2 – 14th to 16th April, Shady tail end of big springs
OPTION 3 – 22nd to 24th April, Daly night charter neaps

Haven’t been up here long enough to know when is the more favourable tides so hoping those in the know could steer me in the right direction.

If you are a competent fisherman do the Daly night charter. If you are not so good at casting or night competent do the shady neaps.

March shady neaps trolling the mouth or other spots nearby.

You're always in with a good chance of a 1m plus barra or threadie that time of year. There's usually a heap of boats out there though and can get a bit rediculous if it falls on a weekend.
Bring a few beers as it's boring as hell if they're not playing the game. Chuck a post up on how you went.
