Fished 4 mile last Saturday. Weed all over the place just on sunrise. Wind came through not long after and pushed all to one side. Two of us fishing pulled out at 1pm ended up with 7 Barra all in the 50's largest was 54. Couldn't believe how much weed is chocking the billabong. Seen one boat with a triple hook up but all average size.

Hi Mikey I have sent you a pm about west alligator head its about how to fish it and the hazards, I forgot to tell you look for a morning high tide between 6am and 7am best time to fish that area also the best time to put your boat in of the beach, but be very Croc wise the is a big Black Croc 5 mtr plus that stalks me in that area. Good luck mate

Thanks dannett , will observe that.
Thanks to Argonaut for personal message, I'm still trying to work out how to send a message back to you. The info was gold. Was wondering a best month. I'm from just south of Brisbane,so we'd plan a trip for a couple weeks fishing.

West alligator head looks like it is out of the closed area of the West alligator system according to the map in this PDF
