Dunno whether she's guilty or not - if so, she's dumb as a post taking that much pot, but it is a waste to have a decent looking Aussie girl locked up over there.
I really don't understand the Indo's - try to bring a couple of Kilo's of pot INTO the country and you get locked up for 20years. Try taking a few kilo's of heroin OUT of the country and they shoot ya. Make up your minds Indo boys - you either want the drugs in the country or you don't!
:dolphin: :dolphin: :dolphin: Atleast they're clear on their sharkfin stance.
Where am I going and why am I in this handbasket?

Personaly I believe it was a setup, (not even she is that stupid)I reckon Schapelle or her family is guilty of something that offended the Indonesians so she copped payback. Her sister is married to an Indon and the whole family has interests there and spends a lot of time there....... food for thought I reckon.
Anyway, how hard would it have been for our Govt to get her off if thats what it really was all about. That was also the time of the tidal wave and our assistance to rebuild Aceh etc. Little Johnny only had to ring up and say " about that new school we promised, have we got a deal for you"

These are my views only eh.

regards chanos.
Fishing is not a matter of life and death, it is far more serious than that.

Most people need to think outside the box, but there are some that need to get back in it.

Sister planted them for her boyfriend. I heard that grass does sell for more over there especially the hydroponic stuff.

Chloe -

Shappelle was an young Aussie girl visiting her sister in bali, she had a large bag of marijuana in her surfboard bag.

it was either left in their by mistake by baggage handlers who smuggle drugs at the airport or some kind of setup. It's just that no one can believe someone could be so stupid to try and smuggle marijuana in an unwrapped plastic bag in such and obvious place to look.

either way the drug laws in that country are completely rediculous.
