Been bitten by a Red Back spider 3 times... Not a past time I would recommend to anyone.. It was like a red hot knife being stabbed into your skin
Been bitten by a Huntsman spider 2 times ... once in QLD on Bribe Island when I was a little fella (yes I was little once ) just got a rash and local swelling. (that might have something to do with current size ?? ) And got bitten on the finger a few years ago.. just swelling and unable to move my finger for a day or so.
Got bitten by a snake in Fitzroy Crossing about 8 years ago.. was camped in the back of the ute with the soon 2 be MRS 2RODS and needed a p#ss.. got out and walked 10 steps started to do what was needed when WACK snake bit me on the top of the leg... Must not have been into G/showers Didn't realy click it was a snake until a few hours later when we were driving and I started feeling sick... had a good look at the mark on my leg and seen the 2 fang marks in the brused area Changed driver and kept going to Kunna... by then I was feeling a bit better so we didn't worry about it. I was lucky I suppose.. it only bit my leg and nothing else and it was either not too poisonous or it didn't get a good wack at me.
Reading this I think I might be a bit bite prone???? hmmm

Can claim the hat trick there, the worst was the scorpion.
it was just on dark and there was a nice electrical storm happening, so the missus said why dont you get the swag and put it in the back of the nissan and we can watch the storm.[ me thinking you beauty]
off like a startled gazzle i laid the swag out and got nice and romantic.
well went to throw the leg over and something whacked me on the shoulder and then on the neck.
i was sqealing by now so when the missus put the torch on and here is the little bugger caught in my beard, so flicked him out and stomped his ass big time. so much for a romantic night. cheers

Sounds like you were lucky, I've heard those white tail spider bites can turn rather ugly.Tiwi Storm wrote:got bitten by a white tail spider once, while sleeping.
realised when i got up and found the big flouro green patch on my foot.
then found the dead spider down the end of the bed
cleared up after a few days

Bl&%*$dy hell 2 rods methinks you are a bit of a target. I also thunks you you might have been very lucky with that snake bite. those pr..ks of things scare the poop out of me - i rather face a bunch of pr..ks with guns than an bl..dy snake thats for sure.
