Top of the Adelaide River

Post by grumpy » Mon May 14, 2018 7:24 am

Just spent a week on our Houseboat up the top of the Adelaide River. Great way to kick back and relax and try out some new spots and new ways to fish and in downtime make bread.

Plenty of Barra were happy to play but more importantly started chasing a few Sootys with success. The river is beautiful up the top and has lots of hidden secrets. The cold change does shut the place down a bit but the fish still need to eat at some stage throughout the day as we managed to work out.

Spent some time having a brew with King Kai his new kitchen is coming on and shouldn't be to far away from opening.

Enjoy a few photos.

Cheers grumpy

Top fish and pix :drinking1:

Fine loaf of bread too, freshly made bread adds life, not Coca Cola :D

One of my favourite NT fishing spots, thanks for posting :)

Barra burgers on fresh bread with a few beverages. .. sounds like the go, living the dream mate.
Top stuff and some cracking fish too well done. It's an awesome area to camp out throughout Beatrice area all the way up the top near maregret junction or ballroom beach . Bring the jacket though it's freezing nowadays. :D

Were you using live cherabin ?
