2008 FFF Awards
It's time to recognise the achievements of those who make this one of the better fishing sites on the internet. Winners receive a mixed lure pack with a mystery fishing DVD or a NTMAG t-shirt - please PM your postal address and shirt size if you are a winner. Sorry - no prizes for runners-up.
The 2008 FFF Awards
Titanic Cup - awarded for sinking artificial reefs. To be eligible the sinkings must be done as a public service (not a secret operation) and no one must be killed or maimed during the sinking of the reef.
The Winner: BarraBeast - he was instrumental in sinking the Van Bruggen's Dream off Lee Point. Also was a major play in the MV Dodgy sinking.
See the topic http://www.fishingterritory.com/viewtopic.php?t=11754
Titanic Cup runnersup - Dodgy, 2rods, harmsey, Jasonmcc, NightStalker and the many other FFF volunteers.
Jedi Master Trophy - Awarded for overall or upcoming contributions.
The winner: Richieboy. He hasn't posted a lot but his posts are always detailed, usually with good pictures. Hopefully there will be more in 2009.

Didn't you mean best Pilbara Dummy Spit Award?I hesitate to suggest a dummy spit award
I have had a couple of people mail me saying CorroboreeBandit should have won a prize for overall input and I agree he has been a great contributor so I will put a prize together for CB - anyone got a suggestion for the award name? Legend of FFF?
Also had someone mention Jonesy - it's true there have been many good posters here over the year, it's tough to decide and someone deserving always gets left out.

Apologies to those who have not received their FFF Award prize yet - I have been waiting on a couple of trophies before I completed the mailout, and they have just arrived.
Here's a pic of the four main winners' trophies ...
2008 Legend of FFF - CorroboreeBandit
2008 FFF Titanic Cup - BarraBeast
2008 FFF Best Blog - Whomper37
2008 FFF Jedi Master - RichieBoy
These will be sent out this week. Most of the lure-pack prizes have already been sent.
I am looking at a more serious FFF prize set in 2009, with trophies and plaques and more
