I like the look of dundee beach, six pack creek I think it is. I think I'll try around that area first as darwin seems to be pretty hectic at the moment with all the grey nomads and getting accommodation is tuff. Hopefully I can snag a few there because after 2 long weeks of seeing road kill and termite mounds I'm itching for a flick

Indian Island bynoe around the oyster rocks also tapa bay produce good jacks and goldies around September, October n horse barra too

Get the latest fish finder mag it shows some good areas to target n excellent maps in there. It's money well spent cheaper than a prop 2

Mini mini system , coburg or gove fish better for them smaller tides n sandy creeks. A 50 cm jack is 20yrs old so don't keep every single one you catch. the big ones will get to your lure first then once you start getting them 40 cm or smaller give that spot a spell.
Tight lines 'n' keep the shiny side up people.

Small lures under 10cm in baitfish colours or blue n white have been good for me out there.
or a bigger lure that looks like a jack will draw a territorial response as it's not part of their school if u get one there's sure to be more in the same area.
