Looks like you're going to get another burst in 4-5 days.
Now the question is to the run off experts, will the rain be beneficial or is it just wasted now being this late? In being wasted,I mean the rivers have already dropped and started to settle, bait being swept off the floodplains, etc, therefore another late burst of rain is just wasted? Or is this theory incorrect and another top up will bring on another hot fishing phase?
Not sure if I want a massive dump,I'm up in 2.5 weeks. Prolonged rain this close to my trip may stuff me up.

We got 18 mm up until 1700 y'day, got a shirtload after that too, anyone else get decent rain?
It was good timing , I was just getting out the sprinklers and getting the bore ready to go hard 'cause it has dried off so quickly.

FMD......I don't want another monsoon, I was looking forward to the Daly dropping, settling, the nice green water starting to come down and the fish getting back on the snags!
I reckon the Classic and depending on the amount of rain, to a lesser degree, the Nationals will be rooted by another monie. It will be sort of between a fair dinkum run-off and a settled river. Anyways have'nt the rainbows already done their breeding and the floodplains flushed, where is the bait gunna come from if there is another run-off?
My thoughts.
