The rain is falling, the Daly is flooded, and Kakadu well soaked.

Will it be a cracker fishing year in the NT?

Yep last year's barra will be keepers by now. The rivers around Darwin (Finniss, Mary, South, Daly) have a bunch of water coming down. Giddy up!

Any year we've got the ability to fish after the last one is a great year.

And each year the yarns get bigger and better, just as the fish we caught the year before :)

Hope so

It will be good, but a decent rain in 2019 and then a good one in 2020 will be the cracker. Good seasons need to stack up over a few years and 2013 through 2016 was lacking.

The MDF tag returns are interesting. Very high rate of return. Low fish stocks?

Of course, there is a lot of effort out there for MDF ...

Looking good so far PB upgrade earlier in the piece, then lost another 3 over the $ mark already this year.... 20lb braid is just not cutting it on big fish in the current using 17A bombers : 5 lures so far this year on unstoppable stuff.
