I saw an episode of IFish recently, where Shane Compain was high speed trolling in Sanpan/tommy cut. He explained that the reason for high speed trolling there. He said that there was a lack of any structure for bait fish to hide, so they run the gauntlet at full speed (as would I).
So it would depend on where you were trolling.
I don't think high speed trolling the Daley would do any good

Yeh still in Tangam Ditchfire, is a beautiful spot, live on the Kiewa so always chasing a cod, fishing is getting better every year size wise….left my boat up north mate and will chase a barra mid March….you from here originally ?
