NT fracking gets the OK

Talk about bungled boat ramps, net buybacks, marine no-go zones, mining disasters etc here.

NT fracking gets the OK

Post by Matt Flynn »

Well, almost, a foregone conclusion ...

The dilemma of humanity, gotta have money and jobs even if it risks screwing up the environment even more ... http://www.news.com.au/national/norther ... 75e0502589

Will hydrocarbons be the next thing flowing into bores and rivers?

Don't worry, with all these assaults on the nation, the feds will ramp up environmental spending to compensate. Hang on a minute ... https://www.theguardian.com/australia-n ... ook-office

I guess they'll need the saved money for PFAS compo claims.

Sorry, feeling a bit cynical this week ...

I reckon they’ll probably get the tick down here in the Pilliga in some form. EIS/EIA is iminent.

NSW has had the CSG brakes on for some time now. About to start rolling...

"Time to buy shares in Santos"

Could be what the rig the 'Noble Tom Prosser' is here for.

Haven't seen so many rig supply ships in Darwin since the Bayu-Undan project started

Just another step towards FARKING the environment. You can be certain that fracking will come back and bite us environmentally by then it will be well and truly irreversible.

The future must be in jobs in renewables - but the renewables don't seem to get talked up much by Australian politicians.
