Tackle tray storage on board.

Talk about the gear you can't afford and knots you can't tie.

Tackle tray storage on board.

Post by barnzy »

Hi, has anyone had tackle tray lockers or holders built or installed in there boats? Just after some ideas. Iv found some online which look really good but they are as dear as poison. I think it would be cheaper to get some made out aluminium. I just want to tidy up the clutter in the boat and make it easier to access all my tackle. Any ideas would greatly appreciated. Cheers

I use nylex storage boxes that I've had for ages. They hold 5 tackle trays and the lid has a raised rim so the one your using stays in place. Doesnt matter if it gets wet or nlood splatters as its easy to clean. I put string or elastic though the lid and bow and sliding dprong loaded
how many is enough lures, rods and reels. Is there a magic number, considering you usually only catch 1 fish on a single lure on the one rod and reel your casting with.

Big fingers. Spring loaded cord holders like on a rain coat. Stops the lid blowing off. Google m-tb003 tote. Great box don't know where to buy them locally.
