Mercury 90/100 hp

Talk about the gear you can't afford and knots you can't tie.

Don't have any experience with the Mercury other than towing a few boats with them whether new or old.

Seems like they don't handle a guts full of mud or sand though as well as the others do and don't seem to clear themselves without having to operate on them.

Probably a good motor in the open though.
