Gifts from Indonesia

Global warming and overfishing. And any good news we can dig up.

Gifts from Indonesia

Post by Matt Flynn »

Always been a problem but apparently getting worse ... https://www.news.com.au/national/northe ... f992493b16

And then there's the whale with 80 plastic bags inside it ... https://www.theguardian.com/environment ... astic-bags

For every creature we observe sick or dead from plastic there must be hundreds we don't see.

Wonder when the Federal Government will discuss the serious matter of waste plastic.

Yep. Rubbish from Indonesia can be found as far South as the Islands out from Borroloola.
Nets, strange language water bottles, chip packets and the like.

Found nearly a carton of some foreign beer still full and not too old, spread out across the coast once. It wasn't Bintang and I didn't test it either.
