Ronje screen shot involve more technical stuff ha ha ha
i know how to take them but sometimes i just take a photo too.
nowhere near as good a quality but heaps easier.

U're right about image quality. Helps hide problems.
There are 2 problems that stand out straight away even with the poor quality photo. Both asymmetrical.
Bit like saying "I know I paid for and got a 6 cylinder car but I'm happy with it running on 5 cylinders".
Whatever floats one's boat...(so to speak).

Think that you're still missing the point, Flickn.
99% of skidboats with sidescan sounders have assymetrical images brought about by transom issues. Some more obvious (like mine which I want to look at) or not so obvious (like yours) which you may not think it necessary to look at (but exist nevertheless).
Multi-hull skidboats have fewer transom issues in respect of one particular aspect of transducer operation..
