Try using your flat screen TV to charge it. It's how we charge our Go Pro Silver without any dramas.

Try Jaycar on Bagot rd, got a fair range of chargers, couldn't get one for JAK's learning computer anywhere, they had it. :mrgreen:

Any one thinking of getting one these units do bit of a google search, appears there a lot big problems with the new releases. Sure there great product when working but all i had with mine is :banghead: :banghead: fix one thing new problems arise ....
Should done bit research my self

Yeah I read all the errors and fixes before I plugged mine into the computer and only plugged it in for the update an thankfully it worked right out of the box for me
Pays to read up on most things :)
For $400 you have the most powerful compact camera around ;)
I love both o mine :)

Same same, wish I waited till the issues got iron out first.

Bit dodgy from go pro to release it in shape it was in. People in the states had to wait a few months for the update on 14th dec.

Yeah update was for the wifi update for phones and tablets ?? Most people said they were using there's with out drama. Just needed to format adds and use top quality cards

I'll keep playing with and reading the go pro. I just the thing to work straight out of the box like my condour HD.

Just waiting on the new card and hoping that will fix it. Keeps switching itself off after a minute on recording.

Yeah my mate had a class 4 he was using it would take 10 photos and only couple seconds of video then just stop recording wouldn't turn off tho
What class card you running ??

Ive got 2x 16g cards that I had for contour. I've got class 10 64g on its way in mail.

Ben ,,had similar probs with an old camera and changed to class10,fixed the recording issue,,,
after reading this thread I,m sort of glad I didn,t get my Go pro 3 for xmas

MOUSE ,,depends what you want or how much you want to do with it..
I,ve been looking for a while and thinking of the Canon D20 powershot,,,not a Go pro but I just want a robust waterproof camera for the boat,,

For what they are, even though i've had problems with my Hero 3 also, i think Go Pro are still ahead of the rest.

Although on a few US forums, a few people seem to be fans of the Sony Action Cam, might be worth researching further.
