Hey guys,

Went fishing yestie for the first time this year and hooked up the Garmin touch screen...and had some issues...seems like the touch screen is playing up...touch on one area and it activates a different area...cant get all the maps and is also stuck on navigate to a specific waypoint and I can't stop that......hasn't been dropped or left in the sun or water. Put it away working fine....now no good....any ideas.....?????

I will look at doing a "hard restart" on it if I can find out how to do it!

Can you recalibrate the touch area?? Most devices like that give you an option. From other devices i have worked on with similar issues, it might need a firm press around the edge of the unit (plastic shroud not the screen itself) as these sometimes come slightly adrift, causing the issues you describe. But try the recal first.
