hello gurus, I have a lowrance elite9 but money burning a hole in my pocket. does anybody have thoughts about these two options as an upgrade?
1. hds16 live - about $4200 OR
2. elite fs9/active target2 - about the same $$

Everyone is raving about Active Target. Probably depends somewhat on the fishing you do.

I reckon the ideal combo is a Live 12 and AT1 second hand (or equivalent from Garmin)
They're starting to pop up for sale

I don't think 9 is big enough and I remember hearing that on the elite switching between AT and other modes takes ages
