I agree EXIDE are the best in town, my mate got a couple of Hybrid (deep cycle/cranking) batteries off them a few weeks a go for sub 200 bucks each. I wont use anyone else in town.

Ended up getting 2 120AH AGMs from Exide. $620. Best price in town by a fair bit. Don't mind supporting locals if the price is reasonable. And I don't have to wait for delivery.

I bought a couple of 120's myself the week before last, grabbed a couple of Century AGM's based on the advice of a couple of others. Paid $380 each for them on the work trade acc, Supercrap have them for nearly 600 each.... http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Produc ... 0Ah/392553

Did 3 big days with them on the Minn Kota out at Dundee, performed well each day. Got down to 1 bar on the first day but it was blowing its ring out and pretty rough. No issues the next two days when it was a lot calmer.

Battery power centre on benison Rd looked after me with a 135 AGM. Support a local. Better value than I&O.
how many is enough lures, rods and reels. Is there a magic number, considering you usually only catch 1 fish on a single lure on the one rod and reel your casting with.

I've had a few of their batteries in the past. They were cheap....

Forget ebay. My batteries were junk and a quick search would have saved me. Forget about warranty too, they're experts in making the process sliw and impossible. I believe the same seller is operating under a seties of accounts...

There aren't many battery suppliers (including some very well known ones) who aren't taking advantage of the confusion that abounds in respect of batteries and they've been doing it for years.

E-bay just makes it easier for them.

Here's a bit of battery basics info
