Hit Shoal Bay and we landed one out of about 8 hook ups.
Skipper got a nice fish probably in the 80's and myself another shark attack victim...

Hooked a nice barra the other day. . . Got lucky with the hooks only just holding on, even the 6X VMCs are still not up to territory barra spec sometimes.

Great barra shot, well exposed, good use of the fill in flash, horizon straight, no glasses so you can see the eyes of both the fish and the angler, great backdrop, everything in focus. Well done 8)

Best I could do on another recent trip to the Wildman mouth after getting a few last neaps

I got a flogging by my decky today though with him landing a solid metery on my borrowed gear including one of my best ''I found that one in a tree'' lures :banghead: and my first decent barra reel I'd bought when I was only 13 years old .... a 25 year old Abu 6500 on an ancient ugly stik gold 2 piece rod  them's the breaks though. But it would've been great to land it myself and have the full bragging rights though.
