My metery (imagined) is like my wife, in as much as, you can have a grab at her if you feel your opportunity is at hand, but i'm probably gonna get mad and slap you with (at least) a pilchard, if wife/metery or rod slip away due to my negligence or inattention...there's a lesson in it for me and me alone.
I'll treat your wife and fish in the same way, unless you expressly ask me to hold your rod...and then we had better be fishin'

not by bellfish report !!! he saved yr rod, moved the bait, yelled out while he was fighting the fish on yr rod
lucky bellfish was there camfish otherwise you could be a rod and a meter barra short
maybe you could take note on his fishing prowless and improve yourself, after all he has a picture of a legit meter barra on the site
it may be a good idea for both of you to print out the cuddlescooper post and grab a slab and sit down and read it together.........for thats whats fishing is abt.

Re: The journey to success and the bad decision.
Had something very similar happen over at the rock a few years ago. With another forum member! About 4am I decided to have a sleep after a few too many left the lives out as ya do, and was woken up by my mate yelling and screaming! Realized he was hooked up to a good fish so pulled in the anchor and drove the boat away from the rock got the other lines in and netted the fish, only to realize the bastard was using my rod to land the fish so after a few photos mixed in with some choice words she came in at 103 on the lie detector and swam off to live another day. I was gutted as we had been over to the rock 7 times for the month with the sole purpose of getting meteries, by this stage we had lost more than half a dozen in the 7 trips I was spewing and me mate turned round and said well that will learn ya for going to sleep! and there was no real way to argue with him cause he was right and I did learn!
