Re: Crabba dabba dooo ...
I never take more than 10 pots (more like 5 pots), but I have caught more than 30 crabs (got 40) but took 25 home, it was just before Christmas & we were hosting the party.
I always thought it was 30 crabs per boat if more than 2 people, I was not sure if kids were included, they sure do eat the things tho!

Insanity is a good place to hide from reality!
It is not how long the fish is but how long you have fished & how long you've wished.......

I am with everyone here. Good on the coppers and hope they catch every mongrel that takes more than the limit. If you can't get a feed out of ten crabs each there is something horribly wrong. I don't in any way think it is " stupid bureaucratic, technical RULES " as put earlier. I want my kids to be able to catch a feed of crabs and fish and it is people like SLUG who will stuff this up with that way of thinking.

Good on the coppers again. Ill back 'em til the cows come home
Over the years, I've found that it’s the people who get busted, think they are stupid rules - no matter what the deal
I've been busted for speeding, etc. etc. many times in the old days and thought they were stupid rules. I used to think that the coppers should be out there catching real crims and leave us lunatics alone to break other laws as we please
Then i woke up

I think the emphasis resides with the latter part of the statement "The possession limit for recreational fishers is 10 mud crabs per person or up to a maximum of
30 mud crabs per vessel (where three or more people are on board)" and I think kids are people...well I count them.
...but figure 4 in the fish note can count my crabs any day....lol
