Fishing Clubs - Darwin

Post by doggies66 »

Hey hello all,,

Well I have been away from this site and out of the sceen for a bit so I'm looking for some info about clubs. I'm interested in joining another club, one that has a good calender and isn't playing for sheep stations. As I have heard that some clubs might be struggling I would be very interested in getting some feedback....

Thanks in advance
regards,
Doggies

Hi Doggies66,

 Nomad Likes to think the world is all about him

I am the secretary of the Palmerston game fishing club. We meet every friday night for a good catch up, a bite to eat and a few :drinking5:

We have regular club outings and the club is the home of The Barra Nationals, Secret Womens Business, The Kid's Fishing Clinic and the Corroboree Park Challenge.

for a better idea, check out our website http://www.palmerstongamefishing.com.au/

Cheers JQ
It has always been my private conviction that any man who pits his intelligence against a fish and loses has it coming.

Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.

“Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime”

"Soon after I embraced the sport of angling I became convinced that I should never be able to enjoy it if I had to rely on the cooperation of the fish."

Hi JewieQueen,

That sounds good. I just moved into Marlow Lagoon (from NSW) with a new 6.1m Top Ender so I might join up with the better half (who likes fishing just as much as me). However, my roster on the oil rigs has put me at work for your remaining comps  I will be in contact in the coming month.

Have heard good things about Howard Springs. Especially if you are not in it for the politics.
