Comp was Fri - Sat with winner of biggest barra (Nick Fulton) pocketing $5,000 cash for a 1 metre fish.

Sun was family fun day with a bigger barra of 1.24m caught along with more decent sized king. But no prize.

Celebrity for tournament was the "Honey Badger". Nickname of famous Aus rugby union player Nick Cummings noted for his ferocity as a player. He got a pretty good king on the Sun fun day.

Nick Cummings would be ARU's equivalent of the NT's AFL player Michael Long. Met Michael at Daly Barra Nationals a few years ago (nice guy) who told me that the worst thing in his AFL career was having to wear suits.
