A quick query with the comp. The details sound great, my only question is do we just submit the one scoring fish at the end of the month or can we submitt a fish and then better it later in the month.

right oh fellas it day 1, time to recover from the new years hangovers, you have work to do

you have until the last day of this month to post pic of your longest barra

i will start a new thread for each month of the comp

and dont worry if you dont get a january barra, its probably the hardest month of all. remember there is monthly prizes and a few good fish later in the year could make up for a slow start.

so get out there and get amoungst it

Awesome - Matt how'd we go getting a new sub forum somewhere created? or are we just goign to keep it all in this thread? might get a bit big.

I suggest a sub forum on here somewhere and have 1 thread per month.
and moderate it so only posts with pictures of each competitors barra is in there - don't want a whole bunch of chit chatter - thats what the rest of the forum is for.

anyway - time to stop typing and start fishing, like you say this will be a tough month harmsey..

hey harmsey, think we need to clarify the rules here before the month gets to far ahead of us...

I understand that it is a challenge to catch a barra in every month, yet still possilbe to win if you dont. i think that cause its a challenge, if you dont get a fish in a month you should be penalised in some way? hence being a challenge?

anyway.. would be good to have the rules down here in black and blue... so to save any arguments later in the year...

i must say, even tho you think an honesty system is the go, this isnt a perfect world and IMO we need to include a paper in the pic..
really whats to stop someone going out and getting a few meteries in the runoff, then just posting one foto and holding onto the others til the latta months? i know were mostly pretty honest guys on here, but bottom line is, not everyone is

i also reckon there should be a rule saying you cant get more than 3 months (for example) from same system... otherwise the guys with big boats could go to the tiwis every weekend chasing horses... (sorry harmsey
