It's nearly that time of year again!

When women from all around Australia invade the infamous Finniss River for a one of a kind fishing competition. The Reel Womens Barra Classic was created for the sole purpose of involving women in recreational fishing, from the most novice angler to the most talented angler.

Dates are set for

‎2012 Reel Women Barra Classic
Thursday 17 May - briefing function 7pm at Lodge of Dundee
Friday 18 May - Day one fishing
Saturday 19 May - Day two fishing
Saturday evening - presentation evening at Lodge of Dundee

Jewie queen was champion angler Im pretty sure !!

Yep that's correct, onya JQ and on her first weekend back fishing after a lengthy baby-induced layoff!

minus the boys took out the champion team, lady snakes got runner up, chix with sticks 3rd. biggest fish was 89 or 88.

And puss n boats took out champion independent team (no blokes on board)...... Not bad for only 2 anglers, hook in thumb requiring hospital dash, late start on day 2 due to that, etc....
