« Fri Sep 15, 2017 12:30 pm »   cheers goldish
« Thu Sep 14, 2017 9:31 pm »   Make sure u have a spare prop and all the tools to change it out then......Try out a 10cm white X Rap or a smaller soft plastic on the last 1 1/2 hrs of the runout (try bigger lures in the deep holes if after a ripper ). Otherwise it has to be accurately cast into the prime ambush areas some of the blokes swear by the KO tailbaitz or a small green bomber cast along any decent rocks or snags as well as the endless numbers of small gutters in both the main harbour arm itself and Wells or Bridge creeks. I'd be wary of big sections of shallow sand bars some of them are way out in the middle too. ...and then plenty of rocks in the upper reaches plenty of barra to 70 and the bream and pan sized goldies are a good back up plan if the jewies, crabs and barra aren't going too well.

« Fri Sep 08, 2017 4:41 pm »   Hi is it less distance to the stella clyde from dundee or trailer bout club?
« Fri Sep 08, 2017 2:39 pm »   FITZY not at all. conerntrate on either sunrise, sunset or an hour either side of a tide change. The bait is more concerntrated on the big tides whereas on the neaps it is more spread out. Big fish are caught on big tides, the only problem you may have this weekend is the strong winds.
« Fri Sep 08, 2017 10:29 am »   Guys is it worth trolling lee point this weekend for Macks or are the tides to big ?

« Tue Sep 05, 2017 6:11 pm »   Hey Googz what was the sounder deal on Gumtree? Wasn't a guy from Katherine selling it was it??
« Tue Sep 05, 2017 6:11 pm »   Don't like anything that can interfere with the bib and affect the way the lure swims weather that be a split ring or a clip it's alway a loop knot and I never use wire even fro pelagics
« Tue Sep 05, 2017 3:12 pm »   hope they are lucky lures Jeff
« Tue Sep 05, 2017 1:38 pm »   Hi Matt , I got the lure pack and Mag , Thanks :)
« Tue Sep 05, 2017 10:16 am »   When barra fishing I take them off for 2 reasons. Firstly I'm paranoid that when hooked up the mono loop will get caught up on the ring opening and chafe. 2ndly I have spread a few rings on big fish so by removing the nose ring it gives me a spare
« Mon Sep 04, 2017 9:16 pm »   yeah ive been told they can create a bit of a weak point not sure if its true though. never have taken them off but i might start to.
« Mon Sep 04, 2017 9:09 pm »   Yep , i use speed clips so the ring is a pain. Still take it off for the big blue water lures as well .
« Mon Sep 04, 2017 7:35 pm »   out of curiosity guys how many of you remove the split rings off the nose of your hard bodys ?
