« Thu Jan 18, 2018 1:02 am »   Tangels: if out in the rural area don't bother with ''all rural mech'' repco HDoo or HD mechanical. ... I wouldn't let them work on a push bike. Brian Turner in stuart park are usually pretty good though..

« Tue Jan 16, 2018 3:22 pm »   It'll come, be patient, it's still early days !!
« Tue Jan 16, 2018 2:55 pm »   I thought the Daly would be good to go on the bigger tides once it drops below 6m?
« Tue Jan 16, 2018 2:44 pm »   Daly has only been over 8m for a week and over 10m for 3 days and no decent rain in sight.
« Tue Jan 16, 2018 2:02 pm »   Daly dropping now.......just what we don't want, more big rain needed to keep it above 10 m for as long as possible........
« Tue Jan 16, 2018 1:53 pm »   Im with you Big Woody, It wont be long for what??? the river is really dirty!!! or the fish are on!!!! who knows. All i know is that the river has to be dropping in this type of environment before you would even consider fishing the river. Might be a bit too early nomad.
« Tue Jan 16, 2018 1:43 pm »   Anybody know what the go is with mud crabs sitting in the fresh water on the barrage at Shady? One fella grabbed two by hand off the barrage on the weekend. I thought they hated fresh water.
« Tue Jan 16, 2018 1:00 pm »   It won't be long for what?
« Tue Jan 16, 2018 9:18 am »   Daly is dropping fast at Dorisvale so it wont be long now http://www.bom.gov.au/fwo/IDD60322/IDD6 ... .plt.shtml

« Wed Jan 10, 2018 7:20 pm »   Just spotted this. Look at the way its silting up https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =3&theater
« Wed Jan 10, 2018 7:20 pm »   So yesterday afternoon a friend of mine came home to discover that she was broken into. The intruder broke a window and left a nice blood sample with finger prints. You would think that the NT Police might make that a priority. 24 hours after reporting it they are still telling her that she is a high priority and sit tight, they will be there soon but are a bit busy right now. Must be too under resourced to do anything but hand out speeding tickets.
« Wed Jan 10, 2018 7:15 pm »   thanks Lats
« Wed Jan 10, 2018 7:06 pm »   Sorry but still not convinced http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/satellite/
« Wed Jan 10, 2018 6:41 pm »   I dont think there is Nomad. The bloke who owns the camp ground out there usually puts up photos on his FB page
« Wed Jan 10, 2018 6:40 pm »   Carpentaria. As well as looking at the rain radar, I look at the Japanese satellite that shows the last 6 hours of building cloud movement in fast motion. It just looks a bit promising this afternoon as it might mean some good rain for the Eastern side.
« Wed Jan 10, 2018 6:36 pm »   Is there a river level website for the Mary at shady camp?
« Wed Jan 10, 2018 6:08 pm »   Not really sure which "Gulf" you are talking about. Not much in either Carpentaria or Joseph Bonaparte...Maybe Vincent is copping a flogging
« Wed Jan 10, 2018 5:12 pm »   Awesome looking build up in the Gulf at the minute. Shhh I didn't mention it :)
« Wed Jan 10, 2018 3:50 pm »   Thanks Wrighty.
« Wed Jan 10, 2018 3:42 pm »   approx 2.5 hours at the mouth and 4.5 at the ramp
« Wed Jan 10, 2018 3:25 pm »   What's the time difference for the tides between the mouth of the South and the Bridge?
« Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:51 pm »   no worries mate, hope you get onto a few fish

« Wed Jan 10, 2018 9:34 am »   Saw a dude walking out of there with a ripper of a Jack a few months ago
« Wed Jan 10, 2018 9:27 am »   cool flickin.. I'm not sure where the creek is, might have to google map that up. :)
« Wed Jan 10, 2018 6:12 am »   Try near the remanants of the old gun turret out on the oysters in ludmilla ck mouth on a spring low run out captain. I've got a few down there over the years but don't stay too long or you'll be swimming back.
« Tue Jan 09, 2018 9:31 pm »   tru dat. I always love fishing a good, low tide at the Buff, about 0.8-1metre. small water, big fish.
« Tue Jan 09, 2018 9:22 pm »   Captain. I can't say much for land based myself round that country but off shore in a boat, in close, the bottom of the tide seems better when chasing a feed. I just put it down to rugged country for the fish and maybe they don't want to be slammed in big tides or hard currents. Plenty of good sized fish when its slow and calm.
« Tue Jan 09, 2018 2:02 pm »   Hi Team, what tide be best around PeeWees and East Point guys? ive tried incomings, but to no avail... does the high tide and outgoing go better in anyones opinion?
« Tue Jan 09, 2018 12:31 pm »   From Perrys ... Daly at 5.2m OOC. & rising
« Tue Jan 09, 2018 11:41 am »   anyone been out kakadu? way any culverts flowing?

« Mon Jan 08, 2018 10:06 pm »   What a beast coming from the East Ali
« Sun Jan 07, 2018 2:06 pm »   Beautiful day. Willy willy went through Cullen Bay Marina this morning in a heavier shower and took someones sail cover up about 20m and dropped it about 100m away before it headed up over Larrakeyah.
« Sun Jan 07, 2018 1:35 pm »   nice ... http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDR633.loop.shtml#skip
« Sun Jan 07, 2018 12:23 pm »   yeah, last 4/5 times to the buff the tide has been like 1.5-2 hours late.
« Sun Jan 07, 2018 12:12 pm »   Yep.. sometimes the tides are to the minute and other times a few hours out for some reason. I thought it was just me but the Charter boys comment on it also.
« Sun Jan 07, 2018 11:58 am »   Buff today at 4am, tide was still ripping out, n low at 3am. stopped going out about 6am, and immediately began tearing in..absolutely no lull at all, so most lures no good. tried fizzers, poppers, plastics, and hardbodies.. only thing we caught were raindrops.....
« Sat Jan 06, 2018 9:33 pm »   What a loser....LOL
« Sat Jan 06, 2018 8:19 pm »   and now no one in your immediate vicinity shall leave that area for days.....;)
