« Tue Feb 19, 2019 6:43 pm »   Hey Matt, got my prize pack today, thanks heaps for the comp, it's a nice way to bow out of the comp after 3 successful years. Big thanks to all the sponsors especially TONIC who supplied glass lenses again as an upgrade...... Cheers Edo
« Tue Feb 19, 2019 1:15 pm »   Hey tks for the survey link Ninja - just filled it in & had my rant (sorry, couldn't support Ray tho cos I don't use it)
« Tue Feb 19, 2019 1:07 pm »   What would be the point of unwinding someone's winch cable then winding it back on backwards while trailer unattended at the ramp ??
« Tue Feb 19, 2019 11:18 am »   Why would they do that? What would be the point of it?
« Tue Feb 19, 2019 2:15 am »   Adelaide river ramp caution. Some deadshit has dropped some big rocks on ramp. Low tide they are a drama.
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 6:25 pm »   Serious stuff here. Our Gov is looking at saving costs. Support Ray and yourself here. - https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BuffaloCreek2019
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 2:30 pm »   much deserved!! good work mate!
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 2:24 pm »   Yep captain, Thready burgers last night, threadies and salad tonight, Barra tommorow then Snapper the day after. Living the dream
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 1:32 pm »   Wonder if anyone has been down the Daly recently what the levels are like and how it’s fishing
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 1:28 pm »   Bewdy lads, faired better than us! yum, big threadys woulda been tasty!!
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 11:59 am »   We fished Sampan saturday, hit the reef out front first up, goldies to 60cm, cod and blue salmon. Trolled sampan for the first of the incoming and managed an 84 and 86 baz and maybe 20 threadies to 95cm, caught a bunch of rats up top on the way home.
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 11:26 am »   Went to shady saturday just fished sampan. Got 6 threadies on the troll smallest 70 and biggest 95. On got one legal barra at 68. Heaps of rats flicking the drains and creeks a couple of k's up from the mouth. Seemed like everyone was getting a few threadies trolling
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 11:26 am »   Nice Report Blowski! :)
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 11:23 am »   we were at Shady 2 hours before the change, n trolled up and down that mouth for ages, dropped one Baz, maybe about 60cm. Tried All 3 sizes of Reidys in Kryptonite, purple rain, and others. had more luck trolling the inner part of the mouth, and up the way a bit..
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 11:23 am »   i posted in my post about my experiance
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 11:17 am »   Well, at least you got some Fitzy. Well Done. Bruzzzzz, Flicken, Which Tip? the Mary? i only went there last week, ha
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 11:14 am »   Not sure but unlikely that everyone got donuts... I hit the Mary a week too late ...thx cap. For the hot tip last weekend. :( Also Hardcastle Road dip for freshwater finniss was only 400 deep so bugger all action out there too :(
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 11:13 am »   Captain we got 2 fish in the high 50's a 72 and a 93 on friday . The bigger fish were caught on the tide change and then nothing
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 10:16 am »   So.......did anyone catch anything decent at Shady on the weekend, after all the hype?
« Mon Feb 18, 2019 8:55 am »   Gday Boys, anyone have a spare Lowrance Network cable they dont want. Cant believe how much they are for a 6 ft cable. Thanks in advance.
« Sun Feb 17, 2019 6:34 pm »   Thanks Matt, see how we go. We’re coming up from central Queensland
« Sun Feb 17, 2019 6:00 pm »   Not too many on here fish Manangoora or King Ash Stalky but you might be lucky
« Sun Feb 17, 2019 5:49 pm »   Hey guys I just joined up. My old man and I are planning a trip up to manangoora station for the first time in late April this year. We’ve got around 2weeks up there and hope to get into some estuary fish and crabs in the creeks along the coast as well as have a look around the islands if the weather is ok. I’ve got a 4.5m top ender. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated to hopefully make the trip a success. Cheers
« Sat Feb 16, 2019 8:10 am »   The harbour is glass this morning and I have to wait till 9 so the deckie can get his beer. :/
« Fri Feb 15, 2019 8:30 pm »   well, fished mouth of shady pretty hard today. along with 40 other boats, and, unless you were there for the Miniature Threadfin Salmon Championships, you might have been a bit disappointed. mate got 2 in the box, 57 & 59cm. Pretty sure that's 2 more fish than a lot of other boats got. tough gig.
« Fri Feb 15, 2019 2:13 pm »   yep thats the go Ninja thanks for the report
« Fri Feb 15, 2019 10:55 am »   At last. It's finally going to be a good weekend. The harbour looks awesome
« Fri Feb 15, 2019 7:24 am »   edit - all their fish, not 'big fish'
« Fri Feb 15, 2019 7:23 am »   that is at the barrage tho, dunno about down at the mouths
« Fri Feb 15, 2019 7:23 am »   tips is to use big rubbers at Shady, one mob got all their big fish on big rubbers, presumably because there is no little bait about this year
« Thu Feb 14, 2019 10:36 pm »   Ninjafish. And the adelaide fished good last weekend.
« Thu Feb 14, 2019 10:35 pm »   Fff 1964, na reverse psychology. If everyone thinks there will be a thousand boats they might all go somewhere else. Lo
« Thu Feb 14, 2019 8:34 pm »   Shady will be chaos, Daly is at dry season levels. Finniss mouth or little finniss would be a good option for those not headed to the Wildman for the 2 days of decent weather.
« Thu Feb 14, 2019 8:05 am »   Getoutnow- if the forecast stays true Saturday should be good and Sunday better. Might take a bit before it calms down though.
« Thu Feb 14, 2019 7:47 am »   Last Sunday was funny. Adelaide was jam packed with trailers and Shady all but empty!
« Thu Feb 14, 2019 7:17 am »   HA HA HA Cuddles going to the Daly then hey :)
« Wed Feb 13, 2019 9:47 pm »   Good stuff.....I'll be there soon.. ha ha
« Wed Feb 13, 2019 9:29 pm »   Shadys going off.
« Wed Feb 13, 2019 2:10 pm »   How the harbour going to be with the wind down. bit on saturday
« Sun Feb 10, 2019 11:45 pm »   Cool, got some magazines and lures for you
« Sun Feb 10, 2019 5:56 pm »   Hi mate , same number but I left my phone in Sydney last week I'll have it back Mon/ tues, call you then
« Sun Feb 10, 2019 11:54 am »   Jeffish do you have a new phone number. ??
« Sun Feb 10, 2019 9:34 am »   'Tis the calmest in the harbour this morning than I've seen for the last 3 weeks. Wind from the N-NW yesterday helped but still getting messy in the afternoon.
« Fri Feb 08, 2019 2:38 pm »   Tanman, apparently road is pretty good, with a few small washouts..no biggie. And Apparently theres a fair bit of water coming down still, so should be fine for launches i've been told. :)
« Fri Feb 08, 2019 2:06 pm »   how's the Mary at the moment folks? is there too much water at the mo? or has it dropped a bit? cheers team!!
« Fri Feb 08, 2019 1:59 pm »   Howdy, Can you launch all tides at shady camp at the moment? How’s the road out there? Cheers
« Fri Feb 08, 2019 11:13 am »   Buff and rapid about 2hrs before the tide can push in over the sand bars at the mouth,,
« Thu Feb 07, 2019 8:24 pm »   sometimes buff is waaaaay late. low tide other week was like 330pm, but then wasn't low til like 6pm..
« Thu Feb 07, 2019 6:22 pm »   really? just went there about 430 and it looked like it was still going out? willy said nearly middle of the tide
« Thu Feb 07, 2019 4:42 pm »   Tides are the same. You will notice subtle differences from time to time due to wind direction mostly.
« Thu Feb 07, 2019 3:15 pm »   I have been going off the willyweather tides for darwin. For rapid creek and buff creek they are listed at indentical times. is this right or are they a bit different? just around the mouths im talking.
« Thu Feb 07, 2019 3:03 pm »   yea ok cool. cheers mate
« Thu Feb 07, 2019 2:52 pm »   Yeah I don't have much luck if the water is toooo dirty, early mornings on the push in,, best time
« Thu Feb 07, 2019 2:43 pm »   yea ok. guessing its ok if the wind holds off and the water clears up a bit?
« Thu Feb 07, 2019 2:12 pm »   Not much fun at E/Point atm ,with the winds ,just gotta pick your days . Much better Dry season for sure
« Thu Feb 07, 2019 12:08 pm »   hey guys new to darwin, just wondering if people fish lee or east point much this time of year? most of the posts are from dry season. winds been onshore for 2 weeks there now!
« Wed Feb 06, 2019 9:01 pm »   Thanks for the info boys. Muchly appreciated. Hope the wind pisses off!!!
« Wed Feb 06, 2019 8:31 pm »   There was some nice fish showing on sounder but very little action . Good colour change at sampan mouth

« Wed Feb 06, 2019 7:28 pm »   Headed out next Sunday hoping it’s gonna fish ok???
« Wed Feb 06, 2019 6:49 pm »   Road is fine with a couple small washouts in normal places
« Wed Feb 06, 2019 4:27 pm »   Anyone know how the Shady camp Rd is at the moment?
« Wed Feb 06, 2019 4:01 pm »   Tristan yes you can get in anytide at the moment. The water is about 2-3 mtrs under the mary bridge so plenty of water to come down also the first corner has silted up a bit so take your time
« Wed Feb 06, 2019 3:08 pm »   went there yesterday for a look.. tide was on its way out and was looking pretty low
« Wed Feb 06, 2019 1:47 pm »   YEAH HA HA MUMS THE WORD OK time for a drive will let you guy's know after the week end :)
« Wed Feb 06, 2019 12:34 pm »   Might be fishing okay could be the reason no one is telling lol seems to be the way now days
« Wed Feb 06, 2019 12:27 pm »   interestd to knwo this info as well. I suspect from looking that the photos/video on social media that you could launch at any time now.
« Wed Feb 06, 2019 11:55 am »   Gday FFF1964, I was asking the forum if the boat ramp at the barrage is accessible all the time and you dont need to rely on the tides!! Thats my question buddy, i havent been to shady this year mate.
« Tue Feb 05, 2019 4:05 pm »   Thanks Wazdog any road reports ? cheers
« Tue Feb 05, 2019 1:09 pm »   Gday guys, i have seen some pics of shady barrage with water flowing, are we at the stage where you can launch without worrying about the tide???
