« Fri Jun 16, 2017 7:48 am »   Shallow sand at browns ck . Few big snags and a couple of good rockbars that'll rip your motor off the transom ... most should be marked in the latest fish finder mag. Aswell as the usual snags and floating debris . Big lights advised if running at night . Pretty cool down that way too pack a jacket in the boat or you'll freeze!

« Thu Jun 15, 2017 10:53 pm »   Brad 1991: strict regs on the cherabin out there now 3 pots / person and 10 cherabin each! vessel limit 6 pots 30 cherabin! Get the know your limits booklet downloaded for further info applicable to them such as pot sizes ,mesh size, turtle excluders, float size and info needed on float for the fishermen's ID .... etc etc etc... few of them don't comply these days but the green opera house ones are good 2 go once you add your float on VB cord... good luck I use woolies roast chicken frame or chook pellets in a rag and do pretty well on them.

« Mon Jun 12, 2017 10:52 am »   Fishcatcher 101 : Nilsie spearheads or reidys little lucifers are both good on the troll and weedless frogs or grubs in the lillies for toga , skitterpops at night or sunrise are also good tactics to snare a few baz fish the shallows over weeds this time of year or troll bigger deeper lures through the timber it might take a few passes to fire them up leccy trolling is more productive i reckon than using the main motor ....
