« Mon Mar 18, 2019 4:55 pm »   thanks tristan.sloan thats good to know
« Mon Mar 18, 2019 2:25 pm »   Not accurate at all. Use the BOM website for Point Stuart and add one hour for high tide on neaps and two hours for springs
« Mon Mar 18, 2019 11:40 am »   How accurate is Willy weather for shady camp barrage tide times? I've heard some say its a bit out?
« Sun Mar 17, 2019 9:12 am »   Apparently some one thought it was a good time to launch earlier here at Dundee...and now their Prado is bogged...wish I was at the boat ramp to get pix....but our friend just rang to let us know. We were always going to launch bit later anyways...
« Sat Mar 16, 2019 8:03 pm »   Launching at Dundee is easy even when the sand is exposed. Retrieving is harder when you're sitting on the sand because you tend to bog down.
« Sat Mar 16, 2019 7:05 pm »   We put in today at Dundee at about 7am was heaps of water camP.
« Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:49 pm »   Cheers Anon
« Sat Mar 16, 2019 5:41 pm »   CamP it was cleared off a week ago. It's pretty good but you still want 2.5-3m to make it in and out easy
« Sat Mar 16, 2019 3:58 pm »   does anyone know if the Dundee boat ramp has been cleared of sand in the last eek or two, or what tide i need to get in comfortably
« Sat Mar 16, 2019 1:42 pm »   blowski, three words, save your fuel...
« Fri Mar 15, 2019 8:45 pm »   Fitzy we launched today at 530am and almost got stuck. Few boats after couldn't launch. 3.5m to launch mate.

« Thu Mar 14, 2019 11:48 pm »   A guy caught a nice little mackie off Nightcliff jetty tonight there was a tonne of bait hanging around.
« Thu Mar 14, 2019 9:16 pm »   Think it’s high tide dependent now bloke from what I’ve heard
« Thu Mar 14, 2019 6:35 pm »   What would be the latest to put in at shady on Saturday morning
« Thu Mar 14, 2019 6:20 pm »   Leaders ramp is 90 mins after Darwin and you will need 2.2m to get over the rock bar
« Thu Mar 14, 2019 1:14 pm »   What is the tide time difference at leaders creek boat ramp and minimum hieght for a 4.5 meter boat please
« Thu Mar 14, 2019 1:03 pm »   C'mooooooooon Dundee!! yeeeew!!!

« Sat Mar 09, 2019 10:52 pm »   Finatic they were digging it out Friday I believe. We launched at 3.2m and were fine with a 5.6m
« Sat Mar 09, 2019 10:46 pm »   She's a bit of a way there. 12.11.309S. 130.32.55E. Noble Tom Prosser was in closer but not showing up on radar but that's not unusual.

« Sat Mar 09, 2019 9:31 am »   Matt you forgot the sharks
« Sat Mar 09, 2019 8:41 am »   Pinnacles has reefies, sailfish ... and loads of trevs
« Fri Mar 08, 2019 10:16 pm »   Yep... in this seadogs comp you can have 4 times the casts or km of trolled lures in a variety of different types or colours in a decent sized boat matey... or in your case 2 little kids or 1 lightweight bloke as decky if you're in the punt you were building if it eventually gets in the water .....one day How did it's test run go ? ???

« Fri Mar 08, 2019 6:35 pm »   Howdy. Anybody know if those 2 rigs are still off Darwin and producing any fish?
« Fri Mar 08, 2019 11:50 am »   Thanks Matt... Just trying to workout what we need to take in and fit tanks and drum ect to the trailer... Cheers
« Fri Mar 08, 2019 11:23 am »   No phone coverage that I am aware of, fuel was only sold in jerries when I was there, don't think there is gas. He does have a welding machine if you bust your trailer. Water is available - sometimes. Great place, but only basic services.
« Fri Mar 08, 2019 11:20 am »   Hi Guys... New to the site so here goes.... I have no fishing stories to share as yet, but excitedly preparing for our first Barra trip in June. Our destination is the Limmen Bight River fishing camp, with aago sn uncle that went there about 15 years ago, guessing there has been some change to available services. Hoping for info from anyone who has fished or even traveled there recently. 1. Is there facility for filling gas bottles, fuel (diesel and petrol), is there any mobile phone service and if none where is the last available phone service??? Hopping to be able to contribute some good catches when we do the trip... Cheers

« Tue Mar 05, 2019 12:39 pm »   The problem is you will have to wait big time to catch our fish, I predict there will be plenty of rescues out there
« Mon Mar 04, 2019 8:30 pm »   Tru Dat, Flicken!! Leave it I say!! HUZZAH!!!
« Mon Mar 04, 2019 6:10 pm »   If we made it schmicko there'd be a hundred boats there mate.... bugger it

« Mon Mar 04, 2019 8:17 am »   Busy at SWA yesterday, forget upgrading Buff Creek carpark.... SWA needs it more. 2 crabs and a couple that got away
« Sun Mar 03, 2019 10:34 am »   A fish is a fish and it might be the one that makes up the end result.
« Sat Mar 02, 2019 7:32 pm »   On the board aleady..... no monster but better than nothing which was all that I marked on the multiple km of troll runs

« Fri Mar 01, 2019 1:54 pm »   Pms and quintreximon youll just have to try harder me and a few mates have got plenty including several meterys for 2019
« Fri Mar 01, 2019 1:52 pm »   Try Daly Crossing on next big tides
« Fri Mar 01, 2019 9:39 am »   Quintrex LOL me too. Maybe we should start a therapy group.
« Fri Mar 01, 2019 2:54 am »   How hard are these BARRA to catch?? Last 3 trips in perfect weather, clear water, runoff creeks. The Finniss, SWA and Shady all for ZIP, not even a hit :(:(. Havent had a run like this EVER. The last legal barra I got was in October. Confidence blown apart lol.FYI Shady is a 3 metre tide launch and rising, no runoff in the coastal creeks. Sampan, Tommy and I suspect the Wildman will have fresh. Good luck.
« Thu Feb 28, 2019 4:06 pm »   Captain. I'd fish from about 8am or earlier - midday then go home. Minimum 2.5hr drive each way.
« Thu Feb 28, 2019 8:01 am »   B rad they have been working main creek mouths though mate good luck I’m giving it a whirl on sunday

« Wed Feb 27, 2019 4:47 pm »   hell no...it'll be daytime only for me!!! choose life!
« Wed Feb 27, 2019 4:39 pm »   captain think its super neap tides so doubt there will be any tidal influence- just flick off the banks, ive heard they do ok at night with poppers but stuff that i reckon.
« Wed Feb 27, 2019 3:56 pm »   Well, locked in, heading to Bamboo creek Friday for a flick, and idea what would be best time there team? Never been, really rolling the dice this time.
« Wed Feb 27, 2019 3:12 pm »   Cheers Gibbsy. The deep on neap is a consistent theme that I'm hearing so might try and push past Sail City and poke around the 30m contours if the weather permits and see what's doing as well as drifting on some of the shallow grounds. Hop
« Wed Feb 27, 2019 2:08 pm »   Anyone put the crabs pots out lately and having some luck?
« Tue Feb 26, 2019 4:48 pm »   Oh and rule I use fish deep on neaps and shallower on larger runs
« Tue Feb 26, 2019 4:48 pm »   Fishhunter the fish still gotta eat. I did a trip the other year on dead heaps out that way worked around long lost area. Didn’t anchor just had leccy in drift fishing with jigs and a mate used bait. We got Goldie’s, Mack’s, had a cobia hanging around boat and ended up with two brassy trevors around a metre. Just marked up fish on structure went up current and drifted through then all day. If that doesn’t work there may be tuna hanging around that way on this tides. Good luck man
« Tue Feb 26, 2019 1:09 pm »   Dundee on neap tides? I have a trip in March scheduled and the dates are on the neapest of neap tides. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Have fished it plenty of times before but always on building or spring tides, cheers.

« Mon Feb 25, 2019 1:50 pm »   i very much doubt it Quinny would be looking at almost normal tidal launching.
« Mon Feb 25, 2019 12:46 pm »   could last week quinntrex but it was skinnyabout 400mm under boat. so might be less now...
