Most bugs fixed - any more?

Post by Matt Flynn »

Most bugs on the new FFF software are now fixed, including the problem adding photo attachments or editing posts. If there are any more issues please let me know on this thread.

Many thanks to those who reported bugs.

When you login, are you checking the box to keep you logged in?

Also, what kind of connection are you on? e.g. Dialup, DSL, Cable...

Website is freezing on me. I have to keep logging back in. Sometimes I can't open a link?

I'm on DSL, cleared the cookies etc etc.

I've made some changes which may help. Please let me know if there's any change. Could you also tell me which browser you're using, and elaborate on "freezing"? Thanks.

Hey, nice new look and feel. It's a pitty it's always such a big job to roll out something new.

I have noticed another bug.

With Internet Explorer 8, the line to show the tree of folders above the post you are now in does not wrap to a new line and therefore goes off the screen especially when it contains folders with big names like "Land Based Fishng"

I use this list of links alot to navigate back up to the section or post of interest.

hate to say it but the view new post function still isn't doing what it used to do? eg: balou's post selling his loomis rod was posted on tuesday and it's now friday am and it's still coming up as a new post this is just one of a fair few posts that i've read but still get coming up in the list when I click on view new post...previously if I read the new posts say at 10 am and then got bored and logged in again at 1 pm and viewed the new posts and there wasn't any it would tell me that there was nothing that matched or something similar
what exactly qualifies as a new post? are you guys getting the same result as me when you view new posts?

I'll look into this, definitely needs to be fixed.

Edit: In the meantime, please test the new "View unread posts" link up top with the others.

everything is looking sweet now guys...

one last thing i have noticed... in the collumn 'last post' as you go down through all the subforums it has the time and date of latest post and the author but no link to or name of the post like on the old one? hope that makes sense..
