Try this, and do it precisely as I list it, ok?

1. Manually logout from the site.
2. Close any browser windows/tabs with FFF in it.
3. Delete any cookies relating to fishingterritory.com
4. Open a new tab, come back to the site, login and tick the box to log you in automatically.

This should do it. If it doesn't, then you need to look at what applications you're running that may be interfering with cookies, and make sure your browser is set to allow cookies.

I log in at work and at home and have done the above to both PC's.

It still doesn't recognise when I was last logged in...... Every time i log in now it tells me i haven't been here since (coincidentally) the time i did all teh stuff listed above.

So my list of new posts just grows and grows.

On the old system, the SYSTEM actually recognised when i was last on (irrespective of the computer I used)......
I used to have a handle on life.......then it broke.

This might just be my system. I have a protrait rotated monitor and running IE7 so need things to fit in narrow window. All the right hand boxes (login, recent posts, friends, post etc) half wrap over the edge of the man box. Therefore, I end up with a bottom scroll bar and have to scroll over to see these boxes.

That's it! Goodbye Microsoft. It works fine in FireFox.

Update (see previous post). No it doesn't. All ok on main page inFireFox, but when I go into a post everything is wider than the main box. I assume noone else is having such issues.

@sarrge - I'm looking into this, perhaps your account is somehow bugged.

@AdzaNT - just out of curiousity, what's your screen resolution with the rotated monitor?

Define "auto set" please. Are you getting side scroll, as in the page is too wide, or what? Also, what screen resolution are you viewing it at?

I apologise for my previous crappy post, I am describing a bug on Safari 5.0.1. I am getting side scroll where previously I was not so I assume the previous page had a function that would automatically adjust to screen width. My screen is set to 1280 X 800 which is default on a 13" MacBook. I do not get side scroll on Mozilla 3.6.8.
I hope this is a lot more useful to you.

Much better info there, thanks. One more question: Can you be more specific about which pages you're getting the side scroll on? Is it all, just viewtopic, just the index, some other combination?

In theory it *should* work in any browser. I suspect it's a case of some element with the nowrap attribute causing the stretch for you, where other browsers may be ignoring it. I didn't write the template, I'm just the one customizing it to make it work here, but if I can track down where the issue is being caused I'm happy to fix it for you.

After a bit of experimentation I find no side scroll bar on the front page, post new topic or post reply but I do get it in Topic or Post pages ie i get it now while typing in Quick reply.

I'll be looking into this tonight. It's second or third on my list at the moment. In the meantime, I'd suggest using Firefox. Safari has such a tiny market share, and a lot of quirks, it isn't something I normally test for at all.

Account bugged??

Dunno - anyway, I followed what you said to do in teh shout box at the top of the page. I've logged in a number of times since then but the system still tells me my last login was Sunday at 3.33 (when I reset everything)

You're showing as last active on September 13th (yesterday) on my end. I'm not sure what's going on with your account, but I see nothing out of the ordinary at all.
