Well I've finally got my pooh together and took some photos of my pride and joy. She is a 469 Nomad Elite, chose the tiller model because pilbara trolling stretches can be very short, down to 100 mts, so theres a free hand for rod whilst turnig around. Also provides heaps more deck space.
Navman 6600, E-Tec 50, large bait tank and 80 lts under the deck. also went for the HD trailer cos I do lots of dirt. Had her just on 9 months now and clocked up 1750 NMs.
Cheers Daisy

Only fitting that my first post here is in honour of my namesake "Nepenthe" (translation- drug for relaxation and relief from grief Greek)
Staboat (WA) 6m Platey circa 1985, an oldy but a goody, refitted 2006 by yours truly and help from mates , refit included:
Cummins Mercruiser 120hp Turbo diesel sterndrive (3 km/lt @ 20 Knts)
Hydraulic steering and New electronics, 250lt fuel, 50 lt water.
Dual dedicated start/house VSR battery system, 3rd 100ah fridge battery = cold berr from the 50 or 80 lt Waecos.
Trailer rebuild and gal dip.
Same old paint cause it was still catching fish and not effecting fuel economy or seaworthieness.[/i][/i]

Thought I would add some pictures of my Rig. Stessl Truck Hull. Suzuki 90HP. Brought it as a hull only and got Robbie from Allycraft to fit it out for me. Is a great boat for the big rivers but tends to be a bit wet in the Blue stuff. Since I am allergic to waves hasn't been a problem. Everthing that can go wrong has gone wrong with the trailer and I wish I had of gone a custom job when I brought it.

Bought it March 2007, is a 2006 modle. The fellas that make it used to work for Sea Storm boats. Came with fuel flow meter, 250ltr fule tank, LED lighting, electric anchor winch, all safety equip, 2-way, 200ltr flooding kill tank, self draining deck, HUGE bunk (sleeps the miss's 2x kids and me no sweat), walk around cab, heaps of deck/storage space, bait tank(un-plummed) and LMS 337 gps/sounder
Top speed of 67kph with a 17inch pitch prop that is a little too small for it (revs too high 6400 rpm, shouldn'd go above 6000rpm) getting a 19 inch. Cruises at about 40-50kph depending on weather(most of the time I've had it has been windy). Very happy with it.
Have since added
Salt deck wash.
Currently putting in fresh deck wash.
LCX 27 gps/sounder
Bunk in-fill
CD player
Plumbed bait tank
Fans and accessory plug
Just waiting for the stickers to name the boat "SCREEM"N REELS"
Sorry, lot of pictures but I love It

A few Q's for ya :-
How big is she
How many Km/Ltr you pulling
What was the $'s damage (if u don't me asking )
Looking to be getting into something similar in the future - the 5.6m CC just seems to get a foot shorter for every year older I get
Sorry Slug, got excited and forgot to add the details
Is a 6.8M plate alloy Seaprowler (7.4 LOA), 2.5M beam, with a 225hp 4stk Yammy Hull rated to 260hp.
On the average day I go fishin' it is windy and choppy/swell but the fuel flow tells me 30-34Lph @ 40-45Kph. The last trip was a flat day and the meter read 25Lph @ 45-50Kph. These figures are with the 17inch pitch prop that is too small for it(the engine swings it way too easy) and am looking at getting a 19inch that i believe will improve my cruise speed/economy also bring my max rpm into the correct range to(5000-6000rpm currently revs to 64000rpm).
Was bought from Boat point 2nd hand 19hrs for 82K. Sounds expensive but when you look up other boats in that range(Razerline,Noble,Downunder,AMM,Goldstar,Sea storm to name a few) it is pretty good. also gets a lot of work, no good spending that money and have it sit in a shed
I am also suprised at its shallow water capability <.5M''
also a nice ride and dry especially in the cockpit Fishing is my passion, more serious than life and death

well heres my little piece of green envy
she's a 4.1 poly challenger with a 50 4st suzie
goes well, around 55kph i am guessing, and recon i would get that to over 60 with a decent prop on her.
i can believe how stable it is...three blokes all on one side and hardly moves. suits the subaru forester perfectly and very happy with my decision to buy

Doesn't sound expensive at all - damn good buying I'd say (looks like a new jobbie!!). I was tyre kicking the SeaQuest's out of Perth (the Quality Marine guys have taken up the dealership), and the 6.6 Hard Cab (very similar look to yours without the walkaround cab) went >$100knoundz wrote: 82K. Sounds expensive but .....
Fuel figures are about what I'd been getting out of my 5.6m with petrol guzzling Yammie 2 stroke - I'd be happy to get the same with the extra comfort & size.
Any problems launching/retrieving with just the missus & kids? (it's sometimes an issue at ramps such as Nightcliff when I got a 'grown man' as crew with the smaller centre console!!).
Can't tell you how much I like the design with the walkaround cab - that's some boat
