Yesterday I ran my motor for a short period of time (10 minutes) before it cut out. It will re-start for about 3 - 5 seconds then stops again. Seems to be starving for fuel.
I cant get the primer bulb to pump up firm, and there is a sound of air leak from the low pressure fuel pump when we pump the primer.
Is this pump likely to be my problem? if so - they seem simple to unbolt and bolt on a new one. Could it be that simple???
As the boat is in a marina I would like to sort it out my self rather than put it back on a trailer and tow it for service. Or happy to get a mobile tech to sort it. Anyone know who could do this??
Any advice would be great.

Any alarms going off? Might be easy to plug a computer into it and be sure what it is.

No alarms - just fuel starvation.
I will go back and try and prime the system again today.

Research IAC valve. (Intake air control) common for a faulty or dirty one to stop a suzi from idling. Can you idle up in neutral and have it run for longer?

Problem solved.
It turned out to be air getting into the system at the fuel filter. took it off, greased the rubber gasket and all is now good. The bulb primes the system and it purrs like a kitten.
Thanks for you input.

Lucky one Makrel, good to see it was an easy fix
Rumluck the IAC valve usually throws a fault shortly after it plays up, I thought of that originally but when it hadn't faulted expected it was something else. Which is lucky, being a $525 part....
