Whomper, you're all done man. Restored 55 posts for ya. :D

I hope your early frustration with the new blog system doesn't put you off continuing with it.

Shane, yours is next up, probably tomorrow night.

Shane, your blog is restored, even a bit ahead of schedule. Hope you have fun with the new system.

Matt's blog is restored as well.

If anyone runs into problems just let me know. Happy to help where I can.

Sure. Right under where you put in the title on the posting screen, there's several buttons for inserting pics, video, etc. From each of those buttons there's several methods you can use, such as hotlinking from a url (please use with discretion), uploading files from your comp, or reusing any images you've uploaded previously.

When you insert the image you can choose some options for it, like the alignment (left|right|center) or add a caption to it. It's a very flexible system.

Also, for images already up, just edit the post, locate the bit of html for the image (this is an anchor tag surrounding an img tag) and just cut and paste it somewhere else in the post. I'd suggest hitting enter once before and after it, so that there's a bit of spacing between the paragraphs of text and your image. Take a look at how I did it when I restored them to get an idea.

There's two buttons on the editor. One is the upload/insert image one right below the title, and the other is the img tag which is in with the other formatting options. The latter is used when you want to fix up your own image tags. It surrounds selected text (the image url usually) with the img tag, but you have to write in your own properties for it. It's probably easier to use the first option, up by the post/page title, if you don't know enough HTML.

Remember, you can use any html you want in posts/pages. It's much less restrictive than the old blogs, where you could only use bbcode like the forums. Experiment with it. :)

Yeah, I'll find it. Might be a couple days before I get to restoring it though, I'm sick as a dog here.

timwicks, your posts are finally up. I'm sorry for the long wait on that.

You have two very similar posts, and on the old blog one might have been a revision of the other. I wasn't sure which you wanted, so I just restored both.

If anyone else needs their blogs restored, I'm available to do this again.
