1st up the good news is that my wife had the baby on the weekend. :applause: All is well and she is very healthy. Julie had to have a caesarian and this is where it leads into bad news. She is restricted in her movements and as such i have decided to stay home this coming weekend. :banghead: She's encouraging me to go on the Marie Shoal trip that i was invited on but i know in my heart of hearts she needs me to be there. I guess it comes to making sacrifices. There will always be fishing trips but there will only be one time you come home with your first baby and your wife needs you. :cry:

Thanks to 2Rods and Dodgyone for putting in a good word for me to go on Rick's boat. Maybe there will be a next time............ :mrgreen:

Well actually, there probably won't be that much time for a while but it's all good - at least you can read the Marie Shoal reports and enjoy :cheers:
