Northern Territory fishing spots
A mate is driving up. I am taking him out in the harbour (so I said - see separate post). He wants to know places he can hit "on the track" on the way up. I told him it is a bit early for the floodways. Any ideas?

Re: Northern Territory fishing spots
Aye, a bit early. Katherine River at the Low Level, Knotts Crossing, Donkey Camp and Galloping Jacks are all worth a cast for barra, keeping in mind crocodiles. These are in the FISH FINDER book, or drop in at Rod and Rifle and ask them for directions. I used to get sooties in the river when I lived in Katherine, but without a boat it is hard.
Cherabin are usually about at night in the shallows, shine a spotty and catch whichever way you can.
