All I can recommend is leave it as late as you can before committing ing to see what the wet season is doing. Hard to do if you're coming up from down south, I know. I reckon it will fish ok right into June this year. More trolling on the neaps than flicking later in the season.
But I'm by no means a Daly expert. Plenty on here know it better than me! Maybe start a thread, I'm sure you'll get some good advice.
