YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU!
THIS SATURDAY THE 16TH OF SEPTEMBER




TO ASSIST THE COMMITTEE IN PROVIDING SUPPORT TO SHOW 100 CHILDREN THE BASICS
I AM SURE WE ALL CAN REMEMBER OUR FIRST FISHING ROD AND REEL
FOR MANY OF THE CHILDREN THE PGFC WILL BE GIVING THEM THEIR FIRST ROD AND REEL

PLEASE COME TO HELP US MAKE THE DAY THE BEST IT CAN BE FOR THE CHILDREN
AS THIS EVENT SHOULD MAKE YOU PROUD TO BE A PALMERSTON GAME FISHING CLUB MEMBER.




EVERY REGISTERED participant shall receive a junior fishing rod and reel combo valued at $xxxxxx and lots more gifts!

WHERE Sanctuary Lakes, Lakeview Bld. Gunn. Palmerston

TIME DESCRIPTION
8:00 am – 8:30 am Registration
8:30 am – 12.30 pm Simple fishing knots & rigs
Fish identification, catch, handling and release of fish
Lure selection and presentation of bait
Safety -
12.30 pm – 1.30 pm BBQ Lunch and Presentation
Fishing in the lake at parent supervision

EVEN IF YOUR KNOLAGE OF FISHING IS LIMITED DON’T WORRY AS THE PROGRAM

You need to register at Happy Micks ASAP ...... kids need to be between 6-14 years old....

Open to everyone as far as I know... just pop in and see Happy mick and put the kids names down.....


I might go down and lend a hand...like I always say..... it's only time and in this case NO MONEY :mrgreen:

What a top morning for the kids! My young fella and his mate had a whale of a time. The rod and reel combo's were Shimano "Catana" rod coupled with a "BC200" reel quite a neat little set up valued at about 150 bucks. Plus a tackle box full of goodies.
Oustanding effort from all concerned with PGFC :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:

Lucky they cut the hooks off the Bozos' they were casting round............I was wincing at the amount of lead flying. When I left there were a lot of earholes, noses, etc, etc having near-misses :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
