Was a few weeks ago now since this trip but thought Id put some pics up.
Was a good session, as always couple of the lads hit me up to head up the top for an early run off fish. Again the car park was full but only ran into a dozen boats on the water.
Fished the high, headed to Nourlangie with nothing up there apart from a couple boats which seemed to be catchin a couple rats every now and then. I made the decision to head out and up further, local known little spot doesnt look like much but always seems to produce this time of year. Threw the anchor out, first cast! Bang was on... was a steady fish every couple casts for a couple hours. Was on for 10 then off then back on again, a couple double hook ups and some nice fish getting pulled in. As it happens, there was normally a boat going past us as we had the net out, 'thats the first barra we have seen' was a couple comments so was a good day for us and not so for some.
P.S Dont mind my mates gloves, he had never handled a fish and was a bit precious... hehe
