The blue salmon around here are always full of worms.

Seen trevally full of worms, and jewies. Never a barra. Have caught barra with black flecks on the skin and jelly flesh.

No pics but they are white and all through the fillets,get a few in jewies but nothing like the salmon

Hi Flicken I have caught a fair few blue salmon in bynoe with worms. Like sullo said they are white and often right through the fillet top to bottom. Easiest to see from inside of fillet before being skinned.

Yep Sullo is right blues always full of worms, threadies never have any, barra often have one or 2, smaller goldies up to about 55cm often have a few easy to remove with a knife but blues got too many good bait for jewies
