Ord River Bazzas

Post by Dick »

Some video from three trips down the Ord in April. One more to trip to go before the work tsunami hits and washes all before it. All the fish were sumo wrestlers feeding up on big mobs of mullet over the past couple of months. Went like cut snakes! Be good right the way through the year I reckon. Fish are getting smarter and choosy, ignoring live baits but giving a reaction strike to a lure if you got one close enough. Fortunately they're stacked on top of each other so that's not too hard.

Enjoy the vid. live music tribute to Sid Barrett.

That's what it's all about! Good to see a vid without Sh!thouse music ruining it!

Good to see there's plenty of fish around. Went down there a couple weeks back and only got a couple smaller ones flicking lures.

First one put up a fight....
Thought it was deep but it had come up to the surface on the other side of the boat and the line cut on the hull. Sneaky fish.
Went down there a couple weeks back and only got a couple smaller ones flicking lures.
Had a couple of days like that this year as well but the good ones make up for it :) .
