I was wondering if maybe on their long lonely drift back to the ramp they might have missed it by a smidge in the dark and are somewhere downstream near swa?....I'm no judge on props that big but it was roughly the same size as the 115 out the front yard
Matt I can email you the high res pic if you want it, just finding it first was good enough for me

To the owner of the prop ... I'll pay a few bucks for the exclusive story of what happened, with a pic of the outboard etc. Might help pay for repairs :-)

I wouldn't be surprised if it's still there the river was pretty low when I took the picture and came up not long after, if someone did stumble on it before it went under they would have needed to have tools with them to get it out
next time I'm out that way I'll have a poke around with my lure retriever and see if I can feel it

Hey Itsinmeblood give me a yell I will bring the chainsaw and cut the log with you and then we could start a yearly Adelaide River comp with the trophy called the "PROP SHIELD".

Seriously happy to slip out one afternoon and do the chop. :lolpoint: :lolpoint:

Hey why not

no worries...I'd say the top of beatrice has to drop at least a metre to see if it's still there i've done a few trips up that way the last month and haven't seen the snag come out yet

Be worth going with a chainsaw when it drops a bit though.
