He surely did!

Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks 328 games 1983 - 2000
New South Wales 27 games 1987 - 1998
Australia 29 games 1988 - 1997

As for 300 games for the Eels………the only way that would happen is because no other team would take an ex-Eel and they may get the chance to rack up a few hundred……………..TOSSERS have to get a game somewhere!

Oh yes, I nearly forgot………....they do……….. at the Eels and Manly!

Probably none John, I’d imagine being one of the greatest centres to ever strap on a boot would have been satisfaction enough for ET, not to mention his S.O.O. and Kangaroo success’s.  Loyalty
If ET had one downfall it was playing for NSW :bricks:

kk you know cronulla have no fans so why even start on them
You're probably right about the lack of Sharks fans although........in 40 years of following them, other than going to games at Endeavor Field, I have only met one other Shark fan and I didn't have a great deal of time for him :bonk:

Blinky as a fellow supporter of a sydney coastal league side i think you will agree with me here that the real enemey is kevin kevinson and his parramatta eels.

lets see me favourite parra players for 08 are;

Scott Mahon - slow and massive coke problem.
Eric Grothe Junior - too nervous to play Origin.
Tim Smith - alcoholic and overrated. Will never win a comp.
Brett Finch - unwanted by a Rooster team that came 2nd last.
Daniel Wagon - don't ever know if he is playing or not.
Cheers,

Yes, John I agree that shite must be heaped on common enemy KK and his Eelers at every chance, but I cannot and will not form an alliance with you to gang up on KK because of your association with Manly.

Sir, I would slash my wrists before allowing such an alliance to go ahead!

I follow the Tigers but would have to say Parramatta have two of the best players in the comp in Inu and Hindmarsh. Can't see that helping them much though as they have some of the most overatted in the comp most of which you mentioned. The only one you left out was Cayliss. At least there are a couple of Parra players with ability unlike Manly they have one Brent Stewart. Sea Eagles = Overated

I know Stewart is good but it takes alot more than one player to take a team to the grand final, I understand the love hate realationship people have with manly, its the same I have for the bulldogs or st george but even Stevie Wonder could see that Manly had a pretty good side last year..... Better to be over rated than not even thought of...........

True Tigers have been shyte since we won the Grand Final and the only thing that lets me sleep at night is when we made it to the big show we played our best Football and won. I was embarressed for all you Manly supporters when they played the way they did in last years Grand Final. Like fishing all your life for Barra and when you finally hook a 40pounder pulling the hooks.          . As far as not being a one man team they all dropped their heads when Stewart went of much like Newcastle used to do when they lost Joey.

i hope matt backs up all the posts on this forum, cos i am gonna dig up these, and shove em fair up you eel doubters when Nathan Cayless holds up the trophy in the GF in 2008

Eels will be great in 2008

and one last thing

Hasler=Hasbeen

any coach worth his salt would have necked himself after his side dogged it so bad in the GF.
It was like
"Oohhh, that nasty Michael Crocker, he plays too rough... please take me off so I can suck on my thumb and watch Brokeback Mountain"

Everyone knows GF's are all about a few blades of grass. Manly's players didnt want to battle for those few extra blades of grass.
Cheers

KK I admire your passion and the world of rugby league is a better place when all supporters are following our for fathers traditions of hating the Silvertails. Sea eagles=CHOKERS.

P.S Cayless will do well to hold his head high after a game much less hold a preimiership cup.

We could just do the obvious and give credit where its due, The Storm outplayed Manly in every aspect of the game. There forwards had some big hits put on them but some how they just kept going, tuff bastards.... I dont think any side would have beat them on the day......

thats right Whomps, you are a shining light of common sense to these confused leaguies

dont underestimate just how good that melbourne side was last year and how good they will be again

manly just didnt have the go forward which is why we have recrutied the way we have in the current off season. we are in with a real premiership chance.

but dont take my word for it check the markets ... money talks

i hope the tigers, cronulla, parramatta have a 5 year plan cause they aint got the cattle to win the premiership next year - THAT is FOR CERTAIN

ahem, 'how good storm were...' blah blah...

i seem to remember the eels leading them in the major semi, and then inu getting disallowed two tries in the corner by a couple of millimeters.

eels came so close to knocking off the storms 'wonder team'

you can blow wind up melbourne's backside all you want...bottom line is the budgies DOGGED it in the second half.
Cheers

What a suprise silvertails trying to buy a pemiership again. If they tried producing thier own players every now and again they wouldn't have to buy all these has beens. Kennedy, Kite, Monahan, Orford, Lyon, Bell all players they have payed top dollar for to try and buy a pemiership. And then after spending all that money the typical "Storm were to good on the night shyte" problem was an over payed bunch of players with no heart. When Stewart got hurt they all gave up end of story.
