Hi Guys,
An e-mail was sent out to our members today. I thought I would ask for similar input from the members of FFF.
As you may be aware NT Labor have committed $50M to recreational fishing infrastructure and fisheries enhancement projects over the four year term of government.
AFANT would like to ensure that all our members provide input into infrastructure and fisheries enhancement projects that would directly benefit their local communities. We are seeking Expressions of Interests from all of our members for projects to complement our 2016 Election Commitments for Recreational Fishing. These projects can include such initiatives as boat ramps, fish cleaning tables, kids fishing clinics and barramundi stocking as a few examples.
Could interested members please provide any EOI’s by the 30th of October for the AFANT Committee to consider by using the e-mail address [email protected], these will be then be recommended by AFANT to the Fisheries Minister through the Recreational Fishing Advisory Committee on the 7th of November.
To prevent doubling up on ideas please run your eyes over both the NT Labor recreational fishing policy document and AFANT's 2016 Election Commitments for Recreational Fishing
Thanks in advance

Re: Fishing Infrastructure and Enhancement Projects for the
More super-cheap, super-effective crackalackin' junk reefs!
And a veto on those designer concrete block and highly engineered reefs that they are building down south at huge expensive.
The NT junk reef system has given great bang for buck and the jewfish have voted with their approval.
